Northchapel Fayre - 6 July
Updated: Jun 19, 2020
Hi Everyone and welcome back to Dr Parkys blog page.
This addition is more of a big thanks to everyone who helped organise and run Northchapel Primary schools yearly fete. It was a great success and hopefully raised plenty of money for the school.
This years fete was the first time in about 20 years that the event has been held on the village green and I’m sure with the effort put in by the community will continue to grow each year.
The event was fantastic, with plenty for all the family to do, eat, drink, games, dog show, bouncy castle and paint run – The Village Workingman's Club even had an open day for anyone to pop in have a drink and a look around.
Dr Parky also donated a couple of hampers for the raffle.
It was nice to help put back something into the community that I grew up in and I hope the lucky people who won the hampers are enjoying a Dr Parkys taste sensation!!!!!
Not only was I selling chilli sauce we also had local honey for sale from Mrs Parks Beekeeping Association at Wisborough Green (WGBKA) – this was a great success selling local produce to the local community.
As I said before I had a great day with great feed back on the chilli sauce from everyone that was brave enough to venture over for the taster and a chat. I even left a few bottles over by the BBQ stall, I hope they went down well and no one over done it by accident.
As busy as I was Saturday, I still managed to get more chillies planted on Sunday after the rain had stopped. Thought I better get some more in as I think I may need a few more bottles next year at the fete!
So thanks again to all who participated Saturday and we look forward to meeting you all again for some chilli related conversations next year.
Keep an eye out on our ‘where to find us page’ as I’m hoping to do at least another couple of fete’s or similar while the sun is still shinning!!
